To ensure the safety of our visitors and staff, and to support the City’s effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, this entire site and the whole Historic House Trust collection is temporarily closed to the public until further notice.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are service changes at this marina. Marinas, boatyards, and boat launches are open for personal use of vessels only. Group activities, social gatherings, vessel charters, and rentals are prohibited. Vessel servicing, fueling, and pumpout stations are open. Please maintain strict social distancing of at least six feet and clean and sanitize your vessels after each use. Also, transient and seasonal moorings will not be available for the 2020 season.

Fort Washington Park
The Fort Washington Pedestrian Bridge, or "Amtrak Bridge," at West 180th Street is open to the public. The width of the bridge has been narrowed for safety reasons. Bikers will be asked to dismount their bikes to cross the bridge. An active capital project will fully repair the outer support structures of the bridge and restore it to its original width. Owen Dolen Recreation Center
Due to upcoming construction on the roof of Owen Dolen Recreation Center, the center will be closed to the public for approximately 18 months, starting on Monday, April 8, 2019. This work will address long-needed repairs and improvements. It will require extensive scaffolding along the exterior of the building; will require staging of building materials on the property; and will impact pick-up and drop-off at the recreation center. This work and related closure, will also impact summer camp at this location. We are committed to the needs of this Bronx community, and it is important to note that NYC Parks Summer Camp and general member-based access will be available to Owen Dolen Recreation Center members at nearby centers, including St. Mary's, St. James, Williamsbridge Oval, and Hunt's Point. The Department of Environmental Protection is advancing a project in Roy Wilkins Park to remove accumulated sediments and restore the original depth of the pond, reestablish its small island, and build a new bioretention basin garden upstream within the park to capture storm water runoff from Merrick Boulevard. Some portions of open landscape areas between the pond and Merrick Boulevard will be closed to the public to accomplish the work.
